Rooms are quite big, with two beds in the dining room and a double room. Very convenient for families with children.
There is not a real lobby in the hotel, just an office for reception. Our room was at the third floor without lift. Breakfast in a nice terrace, but very poor.
Excellent English speaking staff that took care of any glitches that came up during our stay. Breakfast acceptable standard. No lift so it was a trek to breakfast on terrace.Would recommend as a reliable safe hotel very conveniently located.
Excellent location, close to attractions, can be found easily. Perfectly clean room and bathroom, slippers, shower gel, hair dryer, towels ( daily-changed). Courteous staff, good breakfast. There is no elevator (4 floors), so lazy tourists do not recommend it.
The rooms were nicely built and in a peaceful area of SultanAhmet
There is no lift available and hence you have to walk up the stairs. Besides that, it's wonderful.
The staff were nothing short of excellent and always helpful. Location superb. Apartments clean and comfortable. Well recommend this place!
Breakfast basic but adequate. We hired 3 apartments in total and found that they all had varying facilities, but staff more than made up for any shortcomings.
I liked mostly the staff. Mr Zeki the Manager and the other staff are very helpful and they will do whatever they can to assist you. The hotel is clean and the rooms are good. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
Wifi signal is weak and the breakfast could be improved.
Good location in the old but relatively expensive tourist area, if that's the part of Istanbul you want. Lovely sea view from the terrace at the top (with the Blue Mosque in the background).
If you're a light sleeper, the top room (with sea view) is beside the breakfast area which is noisy in the morning from before 7am. Note the detail of promised airport transfers; having arrived on our own steam, we were refused a free transfer on the way back, as these were detailed as 'from' the airport only.
The location was excellent - there was no need to take a taxi/bus, we walked everywhere. The staff were friendly (as per Turkish standard - Turks are genuinely very nice). We also liked the second room we stayed in - it was really spacious. Despite some bad points we would probably stay with them again. If you're not looking to stay in a fancy hotel with a nice lounge etc, you'll be happy in Anatolia Suites.
The first room we got was in the basement and to be honest we were quite unimpressed with it - leak on the ceiling, smell, very very dark and - compared to the other rooms - really small. To be fair to them when we asked to be moved, they did accommodate us from the second day on. The breakfast, as per all the other reviews was poor, eggs were notoriously undercooked. Finally, I have a feeling a particularly high number of hotel reviews both here and on Booked.net are written by the hotel staff themselves (which seems to be a common practice in Turkey).
The view from the terace was super! The staff were friendly and always willing to help us. Also they made us a good price for extra-bed.
The room was small, but was compensated by the position of the hotel (right in the turistic part of Istanbul). The breakfast was poor and always the same (boiled eggs, cornflakes, cake, butter, gem and tea / coffee).
Very friendly staff, responsive, prompt and courteous. Location is very close to the main historic places of interest like Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and Hagiya Sophia. All rooms are suites and hence spacious. View of the Bhosporous from the top floors and terrace.
No lift. Breakfast is basic.
Wonderful hotel! Friendly stuff, great location, breakfast terrace with stunning view. Terrace is open 24 hours, so you can enjoy the night view of the Marmara Sea. We’ve booked the room for four persons with discount, so the price was reasonable. Lovely place to stay for city trip. Sultanahmet, little Ayasofia, Grand Bazaar are in walking distance. For those who interested in Constantinople history I also recommend to find Bukoleon ruins, not far from the hotel near the Marmara Sea.
The hotel has no elevator, while breakfast is on the top floor. So it could be difficult for somebody to use the circular stairs every day. At the first day we found only three bed sheets for four persons (we planned to use sofa bed), next day that was fixed. At the last day I’ve stayed in the shower composing this positive review when suddenly realized that was no hot water. But all these negative moments are nothing. That’s nice hotel in hole.
Very good choice for family economy stay (we had 3 adults and two children). Location is perfect. Hotel staff is helpfull and friendly.
Staff were very friendly and always willing to assist. The suite provided everything we needed to have a comfortable holiday. Breakfast on the roof terrace was a pleasant start to each day. The location meant we were adjacent to some of the best historic sites of Istanbul.
Quiet, but real central in the nice area of Sultanahmad. The staff is really freindly and helpful. Because there is also an agency included, you can make reservations or get some nice advices for your journey. Although we had to leave very early in the morning it was no problem to have a full breakfast (it was offered, we didn`t even have to ask for it). Last but not least, you get very much for a cheap price.
